A Message From Josie-Tatum's Mama

In November, I led our church in adoption/orphan awareness activities. Josie-Tatum watched intently as I previewed videos and brochures. She was moved to find out how she could help with questions like, "Mama, what can we do to help orphans?" and "Mama, where can we go to help orphans?"

As I sought to encourage her compassion, a door was opened for us to join Servant's House Ministries on a trip to South Africa in July. This is Josie-Tatum's story, her opportunity to share with you what the LORD speaks to her.

Josie-Tatum's Friends Helping

I am very happy because something happened that was speshel. My friends gave me money to go to South Africa to help orphans. My friend Zoe gave me two dollars. My friend Joseph gave me 5 dollars from his birthday so he wonted to give it to me. And my friend Kati gave me one dollar. Me and mama talked about the little boy who gave the fish and bred. Mama said that every dollar we have God can make it grow.

  2. How sweet are your friends? I love that lesson about the fish and the loaves and how God always provides... you hang in there - God will give you all that you desire as you serve Him

  3. God Bless you sweetheart! God is a great big God and he will provide for this trip! I read the post your mom wrote on Bethany! I felt compelled to tell you that we are Missionaries to Mexico and are in the process of adopting from there! One thing we have always stood on was "If God gives the Vision, then he will make the Provision!" That means money! He will provide for you! My prayer is that your life will be changed when you see the world through the eyes of our Savior! Good Luck to you!
